Family Office Portfolio Repositioning

CapWise represented a repeat client, a family office, in the restructuring of their portfolio to realign their assets and long-term strategic plan. The assignment included the sale of assets deemed to fall outside of the family’s strategic plan and the reallocation of funds through a 1031 exchange across multiple assets in various states. Additionally, CapWise was able to secure long-term debt for each of the assets to satisfy the exchange requirements. By bundling the investment and debt work CapWise was able to assist the client in managing the rigid timelines of a 1031 exchange, including coordination with lenders, title, legal, and management of all third party due diligence.
